胶体蓄电池“鼓胀”的原因分析
一、阀对外排气不畅。阀具有调整电池内部气压的作用,正常情况下应能够及时释放内部气体。胶体电池在使用初期,由于电池内部的电解液比较“富裕”,充电过程中的气体析出量大。如果阀出现问题使排气不畅,当电池在充电过程中的气体析出量大到一定程度时,就会因“胀气”导致壳体鼓胀,甚至出现阀口开裂。
二、开关电源系统的蓄电池管理程序芯片参数设计与胶体电池的使用特性不符。通过对比鼓胀电池站点开关电源参数设置和未鼓胀电池站点开关电源参数设置,发现蓄电池鼓胀站点的开关电源厂家为了让蓄电池充饱一些,设计了续流均充功能(即充电完成后再用小电流继续给蓄电池充电)。当电池的均充电流降到10mA/Ah的转换条件时,均充没能转换到浮充程序,而还要进行续流均充(在高温环境下续流阶段均充的电流有可能还会反弹上升,续流均充的时间一般为4~10小时)。加之室外型基站供电条件恶劣,停电频繁,势必造成开关电源每次均充都对电池过充电,也加速电池电极的腐蚀速率和电池的失水,电池内温度导致电池发生壳体鼓胀。
三、胶体电池仓温度传感线没有被接入,导致温度达到40℃时系统无法实现从均充到浮充的转换。在高温环境下,温度补偿功能的失效,实际上就是提高了电池组总的浮充电压,这直接导致电池的末期充电电流不能降低,反而会使充电电流成倍数,并持续影响电池内部析气和发热,从而加剧胶体电解液水的电解,引起电池鼓胀。
四、电池通风条件差。电池柜的设计由于充分考虑防盗性,而导致电池组的通风和自然散力差,电池组在充电过程中产生的温度得不到及时扩散,这也对电池发生壳体鼓胀产生一定影响。

1、 The safety valve has poor external exhaust. The safety valve has the function of adjusting the internal air pressure of the battery, and should be able to release the internal gas in a timely manner under normal circumstances. During the initial use of colloidal batteries, due to the relatively abundant electrolyte inside the battery, there is a large amount of gas precipitation during the charging process. If there is a problem with the safety valve and the exhaust is not smooth, when the amount of gas released during the charging process of the battery reaches a certain level, the shell will bulge due to "bloating", and even the safety valve port will crack.
2、 The parameter design of the battery management program chip in the switching power supply system does not match the usage characteristics of colloidal batteries. By comparing the parameter settings of the bulging battery site switch power supply with the parameter settings of the non bulging battery site switch power supply, it was found that the manufacturer of the battery bulging site switch power supply designed a continuous current equalization function (that is, after charging is completed, small current is used to continue charging the battery) in order to make the battery fully charged. When the average charging current of the battery drops to the conversion condition of 10mA/Ah, the average charging cannot be converted to the float charging program, and continuous current equalization is necessary (in high temperature environments, the current during the continuous current stage of equalization may rebound and rise, and the time for continuous current equalization is generally 4-10 hours). In addition, the harsh power supply conditions of outdoor base stations and frequent power outages will inevitably cause the switching power supply to overcharge the battery every time it is evenly charged, accelerating the corrosion rate of the battery electrodes and water loss of the battery. The extremely high temperature inside the battery leads to the shell swelling of the battery.
3、 The temperature sensing line of the colloidal battery compartment was not connected, resulting in the system being unable to achieve the conversion from uniform charging to floating charging when the temperature reached 40 ℃. In high-temperature environments, the failure of temperature compensation function actually increases the total float charging voltage of the battery pack, which directly leads to the inability to reduce the final charging current of the battery. Instead, it will cause the charging current to increase exponentially, and continue to affect the internal gas evolution and heating of the battery, thereby exacerbating the electrolysis of colloidal electrolyte water and causing the battery to swell.
4、 Poor battery ventilation conditions. The design of the battery cabinet fully considers anti-theft safety, resulting in poor ventilation and natural heat dissipation capacity of the battery pack. The temperature generated during the charging process of the battery pack cannot be diffused in a timely manner, which also has a certain impact on the bulging of the battery shell.
